Day 24, Mon 28th July Annecy-Geneva (Switzerland) 40 Km Day 25, Tues 29th July Geneva-Orbe (Lac Leman) 80 Km Day 26, Weds 30th July Orbe-Biel/Bienne 70 Km Day 27, Thurs 31st July Biel-Basel 90 Km Day 28, Fri 1st Aug Basel-Freiberg (Germany) 70 Km  Postcard 13 posted 7th August THE TEXT: " Swiss National Day , and they got the flags out for us - Switzerland is about 300 years old. They set off fireworks from the bridge and I think even the National Firework connoiseurs in Plymouth would have been impressed! Basel had some fantastice old buildings near the river - we floated past them one afternoon in our swimming cozzies! My Dad took a photo of an old building in 1953; and yet I found a multi-storey carpark in the way! Hmm . . . Goodbye Switzerland - Gremany next!
