Phew! Hope you are enjoying good weather at home too. got your text message but it has been so expensive to reply and had no credit! Email and internet facilities are not as abundant as we would like but never mind am about to do an up date. The cycling is very hard going we have done 800 k already and far greater distances than they would have done. Plus the 23 punctures have really hindered us. We have had moments of being quite miserable acutally! Love the postcards must remember to write as neatly as my dad did eh?!! It looks really good. We have been down as site of the week in Vancouver so keep it up! A Bordeaux update - 800k on. Phew! We slept by the lake "Bain de Bretagne" and a bath was exactly what we needed. We woke to the sight of trees and birds. The traffic in Nantes was just as bad as in 1953 so we covered as quickly as we could 120km. La Roche we could have done without - with its high rise flats and unusual people. Got lost in Machelle le Captif - and the name became true. 6 more hours repairing punctures - now solved with compressed air.
