This is Nina's 7th Postcard. updated 10th August 2003 Diary entries for the latest stage: Day 5, Weds 9th July Bain-de-Bretagne - Nantes (Loire Valley) 80 Km Day 6, Thurs 10th July Nantes-Lucon via La Roche 90 Km Day 7, Fri 11th July Lucon-Royan, La Rochelle and Rochefort 90 Km  Postcard 7 sent 11th July, Day 7 received in Turnchapel on 24th ! THE TEXT: " We've done 500km now in 5 days! The head wind coming into La Rochelle was pretty trying but we made it. We ate Rochefort cheese & grapes in the harbour in the brilliant sunshine. I followed my nose to get to Rochefort City - by following the sandy coast. We camped in a secluded field by an ancient transporter bridge - the only one left in the world. It was magic!
